Position: Administrative Assistant
City and State: Universal City, CA
Job Description: The Coordinator of College & Lifestyle Marketing is responsible for supporting the Director of College & Lifestyle Marketing with the marketing and promotional activities of the part-time College Reps in the field – 50 reps for UMGD, Fontana and Vivendi Entertainment. The successful candidate will be a collaborative marketing enthusiast and an exceptionally encouraging and motivating co-leader for the Director of College & Lifestyle Marketing and for the College Rep team. The Coordinator will work alongside the Director who will work with UMGD Directors of Label Marketing as well as with Fontana Label Managers to determine priorities for college radio, promotional tie-ins, area events, social networking initiatives and retail/lifestyle campaigns on and off of campus. He/she will assist in communicating all of the day-to-day priorities for the College Rep team Job Functions & Responsibilities: • Coordinate with HR and Director to assist with hiring College Reps in identified markets and colleges • Assist with messaging directives to College Reps to market and promote priorities around campus radio, lifestyle and retail • Identify alternative college and lifestyle visibility and awareness opportunities • Support College Reps in their daily business needs • Support the Director of College & Lifestyle Marketing with planning, organizing and executing all College Rep activities and promotions both regionally and nationally • Integrate College Reps’ marketing efforts and incorporate social and online marketing efforts where applicable • Create and maintain all internal administration systems and processes that relate to College Rep mailings and promotions Minimum Qualifications: • Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with employees at all levels within the company • Demonstrated success working with and assisting a large team • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively • Strong visual and aesthetic sensibilities and truly exceptional oral and written communication & listening skills a must • Solid experience in setting up marketing campaigns, events and promotions • Great understanding of online marketing and social networking opportunities • Ability to work with diverse genres of schools within the College Marketing program (Fashion schools, Art & Design schools, Film schools etc) • Experience and knowledge of college and lifestyle marketing • Strength in creativity and efficient use of resources • Excellent follow-through • Excellent organizational skills • Team player • Experience working with budgets a plus Additional Technical Requirements: • Excellent Power Point, Photoshop and Excel skills
