Universal Music Group (UMG) is looking for fall interns for a variety of our departments in the Los Angeles area (Universal City, Santa Monica and West Los Angeles). The internship program is designed to provide motivated and interested students with knowledge of the music entertainment industry. Today’s students will become tomorrow’s leaders, and our goal is to provide these individuals with a meaningful, educational and fun experience!
We offer internships in various departments including (but not limited to): Marketing, Publicity, Advertising, Radio Promotions, Artist and Repertoire (A&R), New Media, Sales, Human Resources, Production, Creative, Soundtracks, Film & TV, Business Development, Finance, Licensing, Publishing, International, and Business & Legal.
Must have proof of enrollment as a full time student (minimum of 9 units/credits a semester)
Must submit resume with objective this will be used to determine dept/area of interest
Exceptional computer, written and verbal communication skills
MS office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook experience preferred
Quark Express, Photoshop, Illustrator and Final Cut Pro experience preferred for creative departments
Must have at least sophomore year standing
Must have verification letter on school letterhead from advisor
Internships are for college credit only
Candidates must be available for interview at location of internship.
