Job Description: Job Summary: Universal Music Latin Entertainment is currently seeking a Sr. Product Manager for the Miami, FL location. The Sr. Product Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of the marketing strategies of new releases for a group of artists. Works as a project leader with all the areas of the company: sales, digital, mobile, new business development, publicity, promotion and A&R. He is responsible to both pursue profitability of each project and increase the perceived value of the artist, creating brand equity. He will monitor and control the NRA income of each of his artists. He will be the primary Universal Music Latino contact for distribution of information throughout UMGD and UMLE regarding new releases. This position reports to the General Manager. Job Duties: Key Responsibilities Breakdown (sorted by level of importance)  Develops and executes comprehensive marketing plans 50%  Permanently search for business opportunities / Monitor and control NRA 15%  Communicates all artist related activities (publicity, promotion, advertising, radio performance, online presence and in general all marketing actions) to the sales, digital, mobile and film & TV department, to maximize awareness and empower them with their customers 10%  Follow up creation of assets such as videos, artworks 10%  Plans and controls quarterly budgets / Monthly revision of P&L 5%  Works with UMGD marketing and sales staff to maximize marketing efforts where possible 5%  Knowledge of the artist agenda and planning 5% Responsibilities:  Marketing Plan (Planning and Execution) o Analysis of the Product/Positioning/Target, Objectives, Strategies, Tactics and Financial Analysis o Planning and execution of Product, Price, Placement and Promotion strategies o Project Timeline o Execution and control of tactics. Day to day follow up o Creation of copies (texts) for POP materials, online assets, iTunes briefs, advertising campaigns, TV and radio spots, texts for youtube contents, tags for SEM, tags for youtube, advertising slogans o Landing of online and viral strategies in conjunction with the Digital Department o Landing of promotion tours and specific promotions (contests, giveaways, win it before you can buy it and other paid, sponsored and non-paid tactics) in conjunction with the Publicity Department (Press and TV) o Landing of promotions and strategies in conjunction with the Radio Department  Business Opportunities/NRA o Create and update a master document to sell the brand (powerpoint/video with the marketing values of the artist/brand, career highlights, awards, target, positioning) o Create assets and content for commercialization, such as behind the scenes, setup video premieres with sponsors, private concerts for broadcast exploitation, etc. o Work in conjunction with the New Business Development department to pursue branding, sponsorships, product placements, events and endorsement opportunities o Monthly monitor and charge the NRA to the artists’ management  Internal communication of all artist actions to UMGD, digital, mobile, sales, new business o Weekly re-cap of the key marketing actions and media impacts document sent to all of UMLE o Direct communication with new business, digital, mobile and sales departments to discuss the campaigns, timelines and momentum of the artists in order to look for the best timing to push for placement in the different retail outlets, both physical and digital  Videos, artworks, photoshoots o Follow up on videos contracts, logistics information to management and artist, payments, video delivering, copies o Follow up with Art Directors and Designers on the development of artworks, text revisions o Landing of promotions and strategies in conjunction with the Radio Department Qualifications  Required o Bilingual (English-Spanish). Fluent in both languages o Bachelors Degree o Bicultural  Preferred o BS in Marketing, Business Administration o Bicultural 100% o 5 years marketing experience, preferably as a brand or product manager or in an advertising agency o Relationship with ad agencies and consumer product companies o Website management o Expert in social networks and Internet in general/Youtube user o Must have a modern approach to marketing o Photoshop understanding o Basic Video editing Required Skills  Excellent written, presentation and communication skills  Excellent Internet knowledge  Excellent analytical and organizational skills  Total business orientation  Ability to manage and prioritize, multi-task  Ability to manage multiple projects and people  Strong cross-group collaboration skills  Good financial knowledge  Passion for music  Strength in creativity and efficient use of resources
